About Me

My name is Kristi. I am not a doctor, nutritionist, or an expert. I am a wife, a mom, an amateur photographer/artist, and I work full time. Life is busy! I love being creative, but never really enjoyed cooking, nor was I very good at it when I tried.
I had heard of Paleo before, but was never really interested until I actually got to experience it first hand.
Some friends of ours do crossfit and eat Paleo. I never thought anything of it until we had the privledge of staying with them for a week. When we got home my husband asked “you wanna try paleo?” I said sure, thinking I’d give it a go, something temporary, no plans of changing my life completely, but then something happened. I LOVED it! Creating new recipes, seeing how I could make old recipes new with healthier, Paleo ingredients. I enjoyed the food, and so did our son. After 30 days I honestly felt great. More energy, clearer skin, and I lost a few pounds.
It feels great to remove processed food and sugar from our diet. My son isn’t completely Paleo, but he has enjoyed most things I have served him, and my husband loves it too.

After 5 years of eating paleo, I have decided to become a Primal Health Coach. I have started the certification program and hope to be a graduate by the end of 2019. Hopefully my services will be useful for you!

In the mean time, I plan to share recipes that I have found/created, and my Paleo experiences here with you. I hope you find some paleo/healthy eating inspiration here!
